This training provides Scouters with the skills needed to use the rope course safely, so all youth have a positive experience. This is a hands-on course, so Scouters should come prepared to try it out, if possible.  Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Let's continue to celebrate Canada's 150th with an amazing Beaver Chopperee!  We have invited some special guests, and are looking forwardto seeing all Beavers out to this special event!  Please wear red and white with Beaver uniforms!

Need help with your activities?  Why not ask your Scouts or Venturers to come out and run them for you?

Pre-registered are guaranteed crest on day of event.  For those who register on day of event, crest presentation may be delayed.

Friends in Scouting, I am writing to advise you of changes that are being made to Carmichael house and St. Catharines Scout Shop. As many of you may be aware, Carmichael House and the Scout Shop has been underutilized for a number of years now.  The cost maintaining the building has placed a significant financial burden on Battlefields Council that is no longer sustainable.  Earlier this year, the Council Leadership Team determined that it was in the best interest of the Council and its members to sell the property, and the sale is now complete. Battlefields Council is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Scouter to take lead in an exciting project that is of high importance to our groups. The ideal candidate will be goal oriented and will possess strong communication and marketing skills. They must be able to support and motivate those who they work with. Strong computer skills are also an asset. Travel across the Council is a necessity in this role. More »
