Battlefields Council is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Scouter to take lead in an exciting project that is of high importance to our groups.
 
The ideal candidate will be goal oriented and will possess strong communication and marketing skills. They must be able to support and motivate those who they work with. Strong computer skills are also an asset. Travel across the Council is a necessity in this role.
 

The Area Commissioner is responsible for partnering with the Area Youth Commissioner and Area Support Manager to achieve Scouts Canada’s strategic goals - Membership Growth, Safe Scouting, Program Quality, Volunteer Support and Group Capacity. Together, the Area Key 3 oversees the implementation of Scouts Canada’s 5 Priorities to ensure more young people have the opportunity to engage in great, safe youth led Scouting adventures.

At Battlefields Council we are currently resetting our Council Service Team. We are excited to have a new Council Commissioner, Theresa Allen-Young, and Deputy Council Commissioner, Greg White, along with Council Youth Commissioner, Ashley Guay, and Executive Director of Western Ontario, Ian Foss
